Uganda National Association of Builders, Suppliers and Engineering Contractors (UNABSEC) - formerly the Uganda National Association of Building and Civil Engineering Contractors (UNABCEC) is a non-profit, member-driven, national trade association representing over 457 genuine contractors and other companies engaged in construction contracting in Uganda.
Since 1993, UNABSEC has made great strides in improving performance in the Construction Contracting Sector by championing better regulation, promoting compliance among her members, and enhancing operational integrity within the construction industry.
The association is dedicated to promoting sustainable growth in the ever-changing environment of Commercial Construction Contractors by improving job site safety, promoting skills and knowledge development and transfer, expanding the use of cutting edge technologies and techniques that are adapted to our commerce structure, strengthening the relationships between Contractors and Clients, and promoting a fair contracting business environment within the sector. Therefore, being the principal interface between the Construction Industry on one hand, and the public, development partners and the Government on the other, the association carries the mantle of industrial leadership for the benefit of the economic development of Uganda.
